How we will help build eco-friendly homes [Shah Foundation]

Shah Foundation:

Our homes are much more than just the places to live in. A home is a place where an individual grows up and learns how to walk and talk. Home is the first school for a kid and a fresh start to the family. It is where we make the memories that stay with us for the rest of our lives.

A home says a lot about its residents and it should be built and managed with great care. Unfortunately, the usual trend is completely opposite to the narrative we just explained. People do not care about the carbon footprint they are leaving behind. Similarly, resource usage is proportionally incrementing as we step our foot in the coming future. Shah Corporation has taken this observation to a next level. After a well-thought strategy analysis, back-to-back brainstorming sessions, and suggestion panels, we have finally reached a decision. Shah Foundation is the verdict.

Shah Foundation is a non-profit organization that works for underprivileged kids, provides eco-friendly homes to reduce poverty and environmental pollution that ultimately saves the usage of resources. We will use environment friendly materials and appliances inside the eco-friendly homes built by the team of Shah Foundation.

We will build a small scheme that will contain 10x homes with gardens to grow vegetables, play area for the children. It will allocate one section to have sustainable protein like chickens and guinea fowl. Each house will be 1000 square feet with eco-friendly furniture & furnishings with electricity supply through solar panels running lights and fans. The homes will be energy efficient.

We will use waste plastic bottles for construction. Even though it is difficult to think of a bottle as a brick. But a mud-filled or air-filled bottle is as strong as a brick. It can easily replace the bricks and can be utilized as an alternative.

Advantages of Plastic Bottles vs. Bricks

•  Low cost & Bioclimatic

•  Non-brittle (unlike bricks)

•  Absorbs abrupt shock loads - Since they are not brittle, they can take heavy loads without failure.

•  Green construction and less construction material

Shah Foundation also plans to support its sister venture Shah IT Institute by providing 20% scholarships to needy students.

To conclude, we will launch our projects in the coming future as a non-profit venture. We have high hopes for Shah Foundation to reach heights.
